Oracle Performance Tuning - The Bentley Communication
products (particularly Coax) can be database intensive in high production
environments. Normally, the Oracle automatic statistics optimizer should be
sufficient to keep the database running efficiently, assuming that there is a
maintenance window for it to run in. If a performance issue is noticed, it may
be necessary to use manual statistics in addition to automatic to keep the
database running smoothly. For more information, please refer to Oracle
Documentation – Database Performance Tuning Guide – Managing Optimizer
Statistics.
Bentley does not support its software running on Microsoft
operating systems versions that Microsoft has "retired. Microsoft has already
deprecated support for Windows XP and retired it in 2014. For more
information see
Microsoft's application retirement policy
and the
Bentley Application Support Lifecycle.
